Mirrors

We had a little bit of excitement last night when our one year old Lhasa apso-poodle mix began barking like crazy. He is a great guard dog, very intelligent. Anything out of the ordinary sets him off. What happened was: he discovered another dog upstairs–in the mirror. Did I mention intelligent?

Even after we all came in, he growled, crouched and paced around the perimeter of where he could see himself. What fun!

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. James 1:22-24
